Who we are

Information we collect
Information you give us when you call, text, email or fill out our walkthrough form:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The address or town where the job is
- Details about the job, including photos you send of your space or items
- Payment details when you pay us. Card, Venmo, Zelle and Cash App payments are processed by those companies, and we don't store your full card or account numbers.
Information collected automatically when you visit our website, such as your browser type, device and pages viewed. This comes from our website host and any basic analytics tools we use, and it may involve cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To give you an estimate or a written price, and to schedule your walkthrough or job
- To contact you about your job by phone, text or email
- To process payments and keep business and tax records
- To answer questions and improve our service
- To follow the law and protect our business, crew and customers
Photos of your property
We take before-and-after photos of jobs, and we send them to you. We only post photos of your property on our website or social media with your permission. When we do, we keep house numbers, family photos, mail and other identifying details out of the frame.
Text messages
If you text us or give us your mobile number, we may text you about your estimate, appointment or job. We won't send you marketing or promotional texts unless you agree to receive them. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.
Personal items found during a job
When we find personal papers, photos, mail, IDs, jewelry or cash during a job, we set them aside for you. We don't read, copy, keep or share personal information we come across in your home.
Who we share information with
We never sell your personal information. We only share it when needed to do the job:
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as payment processors, our email and phone providers, website hosting and scheduling software. They may only use your information to provide those services.
- Our sister company, Valor Grace Property Services, but only if you ask us for a cleaning referral.
- Legal reasons, if required by law, or to protect our rights, our crew or our customers.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to serve you, keep accurate business and tax records, and meet legal requirements. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and only our team members who need it can see it. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your information the way we treat your home: with respect.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Email intake@junktherapist.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We may keep some records when the law requires it, such as payment and tax records.
Children
Our services and website are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Links to other websites
Our website may link to other sites, such as our social media pages or our sister company. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
